I am a physicist working at the intersection of statistical physics, theoretical ecology, and quantitative data analysis. Since 2024 I am a Researcher at the National Institute for Oceanography and Applied Geophysics (OGS), Trieste, focusing on macroecology and modelling of marine ecosystems. Previously I was a PONTE Post-Doctoral Fellow at Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, Lisbon (2022–2024), working on community metabolic scaling and microbial functional ecology. I completed my PhD in Physics at SISSA & ICTP, Trieste in 2022.
I love sports and outdoor activities. My favourites are spearfishing, free diving, climbing and ski mountaineering. I was a competitive swimmer and water polo player until 2020.
